I try my best at identifying flaws and separating them by grades. The following are my usual standards for grading:
A grades will have unnoticeable flaws but since no handmade pin is ever 100% perfect, you might find very tiny flaws by putting a light to them.
B grades will have minor noticeable flaws such as small dots on the surface, tiny print flaws, pricks, backstamp flaws, tiny smudges and very small scratches.
C grades will have more noticeable flaws such as scratches, print issues, bigger smudges, tiny dot on face, particles on the surface, scratches and bigger backstamp flaws.
